Meet The Team

Founder & Trainer
Heather Mills
Hey beauties, I'm Heather!
Owner of FIT 6:10 | Mom of Two World Changers | Wife to My Best Friend
I’m passionate about training with purpose—emphasizing form, preaching longevity, and creating fun, high-energy 45-minute classes for women of faith.
When I’m on the floor, you’ll find me correcting form, encouraging growth, and maybe throwing in a surprise finisher (just because I love a good challenge).
I’m here to serve, to lead, and to walk alongside this amazing community of strong women!

Trainer
Becca BeCraft
Hey y’all — I’m Becca!
My fiancé and I recently moved to Lynchburg. After moving to the area, I was in need of a gym and community, which led me to Fit 6:10!
Growing up as a dancer, fitness and movement have always been a big part of my story. After graduating from JMU in 2020, I became a Barre instructor and taught for four years in Richmond, VA.
I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Fit 6:10 community and team! You’ll find me on the schedule on Wednesdays or as a sub and training alongside you in the gym

Trainer
Ana Altizer
Hi! I’m Ana, a personal trainer and nutrition coach with a passion for helping women become stronger, healthier, and more confident. My faith in Jesus is what helps shape the way I live, love, and serve others, and I’m grateful to get to encourage women through fitness.
I love strength training, early mornings, good coffee, and spending time with my husband and our kids. Whether I’m at home or in the gym, I’m all about embracing the beautiful chaos, giving yourself grace, and most importantly continuing to show up.
My goal is to help you see just how strong and capable God created you to be inside and outside the gym.

Trainer
Taylor Hartless
Hey y’all :)
My name is Taylor Hartless, and I am from Lynchburg, VA. I graduated from Liberty in 2024, and I’m currently working at L3Harris while getting my Master's. In my free time, I love watching sports, hanging out with family/friends, and eating yummy food.
FIT 6:10 has been near and dear to my heart since the day the doors opened in 2023. The community here is unlike any other place, and I love working out with you guys.
Fitness has always been a passion of mine, but more than anything, I love getting to pour into other women. It's such a gift at FIT 6:10 to be able to encourage you in your walk with the Lord while also pushing you and helping you see your full potential.
I am so excited to be a part of this team!!!

Trainer
Sofia Sloan
Hi!! My name is Sofia Sloan but most people call me “Sofie.” I have been a trainer at FIT 6:10 for 2 years now! I am originally from Harrisburg, PA, but moved to Lynchburg in 2020. A few months after moving here, I met my husband and we got married in 2022! Not being from Lynchburg, I was looking for a way to be more a part of the community and use my NASM personal training certification.
I was introduced to Heather and FIT 6:10 through my husband’s family and decided to try a class! From that first class I took, I knew FIT 6:10 would be the perfect opportunity to join the community and learn and grow as a trainer. I love that all workout classes are 45 minutes of intentional work. I love how all the members become family after just a few workouts together. I love how every class is tailored to the members in that class. FIT 6:10 truly is a unique gym and workout experience and Lynchburg is so blessed to have it!

Trainer
Carol Huffman
Hi guys!! My name’s Carol and I’m so excited to be re-joining the team!!
I started at FIT 6:10 back in 2024 and that’s where I got certified as a personal trainer! I’ve been in fitness for about 2 1/2 years now as a cycle instructor and personal trainer. I love strength training, running, and indoor cycling!
I’ve missed the Fit community so much and God has just blessed me so much to be able to train here again!

Trainer
Lizzie Hall
Hi everyone, I'm Lizzie!
I am actively a student at Liberty University and am studying education! I have been involved in fitness since I was a freshman in high school, over the years I've grown to value it even more. I found FIT 6:10 through dog sitting for Heather, which eventually led to working at the smoothie bar and now training!
FIT 6:10 stands out due to the support, Christian environment, and the desire to strengthen the bodies that Christ has given us. The fitness here is not just about physical results - it's about consistency, discipline, and becoming stronger in multiple areas in our life. I'm so thrilled to grow as a trainer while encouraging others to pursue their goals!!

Substitute Trainer
Amanda Murphy
Hey!! I’m Amanda Murphy. My husband and I have lived in Lynchburg since we were married in 2009. We have 5 children, and stay busy.
I joined the FIT 6:10 community when it moved in nearby my home, and was amazed at what I found within the walls. I went in asking about weight options and exercises performed, and found so much more than I was ever looking for in a gym. Yes, I found top notch programming, all the weight choices I could possibly need, and exercises that challenge me, but more so I found community. As I settled into my new fitness home, I decided to pursue a personal trainer certification.. Coming from a place of chronic injury and long-term poor movement patterns, I have learned to move my body in ways that promote strength, longevity, and injury prevention, and want to share it with others.
I’m thankful to be a part of the FIT 6:10 team as a substitute trainer, and train from my heart to help others build strength and range of motion through emphasizing form and muscle activation. I believe when we train well in the gym, we are more equipped to live well outside of the gym.
Heather's Story
FIT 6:10 owner, Heather Mills, started her health journey 21 years ago when she had her first child. She knew it was important to prioritize her health, both physically and spiritually. As someone who struggled with anxiety and years of digestive issues, Heather knew it was important to focus on her overall health. She became super consistent and passionate about the mental and emotional results of exercise.
In 2018, she dedicated 100% of her time to the educational understanding of exercise and nutrition. She became a certified trainer and nutritionist and has spent the last few years training at gyms in New York and Virginia. With the support of her husband and children, she knew it was time to step out and do something that lined up with her mission and vision to serve the community. Heather has not only created workouts that are creative but also a unique nutrition program that provided her long-lasting results.
Heather is excited to not only bring an incredible workout experience to the Lynchburg community but also to give insight into the mental mindset and nutritional fuel our bodies need for healthy living.
